Quiche making

Round our friends today for a play and a cooking lesson. -quiches!

Yum yum yum! We stayed round for tea and had yummy quiche with broccoli. Scrummy tea!

Today big bee got stuck into her bird project while little bee got into his dinosaur one..

Trialling out a new way to make pumpkin purée.. It worked!

Salt dough autumn leaves

Today we made autumnally scented salt dough leaves.

Here they are measuring out the ingredients.

Mixing up the 'goop'

Kneading..

Colouring, and adding a scent. (Nutmeg and cinnamon)

We chose these 4 autumn colours

And got cutting!

We made leaf patterns on top and holes for hanging. We plan to find a big 'twig tree' and hang them once dry.
